       Kurmanov Yergali studied at the Faculty of Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from 2008 to 2012 and graduated with the qualification of “Bachelor of Engineering and Technology.” From 2012 to 2014, he pursued his master’s degree at Al-Farabi KazNU and was awarded the academic degree of “Master of Natural Sciences.” During his master’s studies, he completed a research internship at the Paris Observatory. He defended his master’s thesis on the topic “Charged Gravitational Lenses” under the supervision of Professor L.M. Chechin. In 2022, he defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Optical and Kinematic Properties of Dark Matter with Nonzero Pressure” in the specialty “6D061100 – Physics and Astronomy.” From April 2013 to December 2020, he worked as a junior researcher in the Department of Mathematical Physics and Modeling at the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling. From January 2018 to December 2020, he worked as a researcher at the U.A. Dzholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering. Since 2019, he has been serving as a senior lecturer at the Department of Solid State Physics and Nonlinear Physics. He currently collaborates with leading international scientists, including Orlando Luong, Daniele Malafarina, Hernando Quevedo, and Marco Muccino. His scientific interests include GR, approximate and exact solutions of Einstein’s equations, relativistic astrophysics, mathematical physics, solid- state mechanics, and the physics of compact objects. He has participated in and delivered oral presentations at international conferences held in various countries such as Italy, France, and others. He is the author of more than 50 scientific publications, including 10 papers in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, and 14 articles in high-impact foreign journals indexed by Scopus and Thomson Reuters. His Hirsch index is 8. Kurmanov Yergali is the recipient of the following awards and recognitions: On May 31, 2024, he was awarded a housing certificate by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K.J. Tokayev, for his contribution to the development of science as a young scientist. 2024 – Awarded the title “Best University Teacher”. 2022 – State Scientific Scholarship for Talented Young Scientists. 2022 – Winner of the “Best Young Scientist of Al-Farabi KazNU” competition.
